They basically put effort to criticize such women for their stupid and hurtful actions.

After some time, the slang used to call such women evolved from dependa to dependapotamus. They were made fun of on social media, be it, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, you name it. The videos on TikTok with hashtag #dependa have almost 15 million views so far.

And, the TikTok escalated when a military wife posted a TikTok video with her military husband. In the video, she can be seen doing a savage challenge while bragging about her military husband who just stood up all the while. The couple got criticized for the video. And, many found it awfully cringy which it really is.

Both the husband and wife found themselves in countless memes after their TikTok got viral for the wrong reason. And, the situation only worsened as more people came with hashtags like anti dependa and more.

However, these memes are not being to bash every military wife. But, only the ones who have wronged their families, societies and above all, their own husbands. Nonetheless, it didn’t stop people from targeting the responsible military spouses too which is outright sad.

Are these Dependa TikToks Brutally Honest?

Many TikTokers seemed to have claim their storytime of dependa as brutally honest. As a result, the hashtags of #brutally are being used on dependa TikToks widely. But, only heaven knows how honest and true they really are because it almost seems like a stupid effort to put down each other.
